Deep, Controlled Bass:

The G1’s sealed design and powerful Class A/B amplification allow it to dive very low with authority — often extending down to around 15 Hz in a typical room, meaning it can reproduce very deep bass that you feel as much as hear.

Musicality & Integration:

Unlike some subwoofers that can sound boomy or disconnected, the REL tends to integrate with your main speakers, offering tight, musical bass that complements music as well as movie soundtracks.

Warm, Rich Character:

Many reviews describe its sound as “warm and rich” with excellent bass control, not just loudness — making it suitable for audiophile two-channel music systems and home theater

Multiple Input Options:

You can connect the G1 via traditional speaker-level (high-level) inputs for stereo setups or via low-level/LFE if you’re using an AV receiver. This flexibility makes it easy to integrate in different systems.

Remote Control:

A heavy, precision remote is typically included, allowing quick adjustment of gain, crossover, and phase without accessing the back panel.

Robust Protection:

The internal electronics include REL’s protection systems (e.g., Set-Safe circuitry) to guard against overloads and faults.
